Crestos Care Ltd provides specialist support in community living service with a caring and therapeutic approach to meet the needs of people who have a learning disability (cognitive impairment) with complex behavioural problems, forensic history/offending behaviour or autistic spectrum disorder. Crestos Care Ltd is ideally suited as a community service to enable people with learning disabilities and/or autism to live in their own homes of choice and community or in a residential home that appropriately meet their needs. We aim to empower people to live as independently as possible through adopting a person-centred approach, listening to people’s needs and treating everyone with dignity and respect. We provide a needs-led support to people with learning disabilities and/or autism and additional complex needs.

Our mission

We support our service users to live their lives to their full potential by promoting their independence and enabling them to keep mentally and physically well.

To provide a consistently high standard of holistic care in line with best practice models of care for personal development, quality of life and safe support in the community in such a way that:

·We will enable people who use our services to maximise their potential to its fullest and live a meaningful life as they wish and empower them to manage their health and wellbeing.

·Keeps our service users safe from avoidable harm.

·Provides the best possible experience.

·We facilitate and enable opportunities for the service user to experience social skills, be part of the community they live in where they are valued as equal citizens and gain a voice regarding decision making about their care and lifestyle choices.

·Service users are supported to exercise their own human and civil rights and to fulfil their social responsibilities.

 

·Maximise rehabilitation by the development of skills to achieve individual potential, have greater personal control and independent living where this is possible.

We work together as a group to successfully complete our tasks and goals. We are cohesive as a team; we demonstrate the ability to create a positive working atmosphere and how we recognise the strengths and skills that each team member brings. INCLUSION

Our approach is that all groups or individuals with differentbackgrounds are welcomed, culturally and socially accepted, and treated equally. We engage with each person as an individual. We have a sense of belonging that is respectful of people for who they are. When people visit us, we want them to feel welcomed and comfortable.
